Smores party favor?

Anonymous
Both of you, please don't turn this perfectly innocent thread into a fight about allergy kids and the people who are annoyed by them.

I've never met a kid who doesn't eat marshmallows.

Ditto for chocolate and graham crackers.

Mine doesn't nor graham crackers. Marshmallows are not vegetarian. I don't get all the food crap. Give something useful.

I think the consensus, OP, is that unless your kid has a friend with food allergies who has a helicopter mom, this is a lovely idea!!

There's no need to contemplate vegetarians or vegans when putting together party favors.

Like what? So far on this thread, anything edible or anything plastic has been ruled out.

Well, aren't you a ray of sunshine. You can't please everyone but, I think you are the lame one. Just throw it away but, why make this stupid announcement?

It is useful. It is food! At least this party favor won't break or find itself under the bed where you promptly step on it.

I would toss it because we're vegetarian but it looks really cute and I wouldn't say anything negative about it at the party.

Like what?! Seriously?! Plastic crap doesn't even make it into our house. My child has forgotten about it before we get home, so I throw it away. Balloons are a hazard. Dums dums or other cheap candy gets tossed.

Unless you're including a Target gift card, I don't see what party favor is useful.

I think it's great even though my kid wouldn't be able to eat it (unless I knee you very well and trusts you on the allergy front) Always a risk with food favors. Overall better than plastic.
Anonymous
Most kids don't have allergies, so food favors shouldn't be an issue.

8:10 again. This is what I mean OP, this over analyzing is not reality or how normal people react. Cute treat and something a little different. Go for it.

If some favor doesn't work for my family, it just disappears before we get home. My son doesn't eat this stuff because he has zero sweet tooth, so it would just be more for me. I'm just going to be happy my son got to go to a party for a few hours.

Indeed ladies let's stick to truly useful things in goody bags!

For example:

Snap ware containers
Dish towels
Kleenex
Goo gone

Ya know- let's keep it fun.

My kid would be lucky if she got any before I ate it all.

Yes!! Adorable
