Where's the dairy in marshmallows or graham crackers? |
...the chocolate is touching the marshmallows and graham crackers. Separate marshmallows are fine. Some graham crackers have a dairy warning. |
Your kid wouldn't be able to eat cake or ice cream at the party either |
Melt the marshmallows either over an oven burner or in microwave. Combine graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow. |
| My kid would probably eat it in the car after the party. |
LOL! Mine, too. |
If you let the host know ahead of time maybe she could put dark choc in yours, or you could buy some and let your kid eat the rest. |
If I didn't get to it first.
|
Lol - I know
We always bring our own cupcake/slice of cake and something else in case the party is during meal time. I don't mention the allergy unless asked, and even then I make sure the host knows that we will bring something comparable. Parties are enough work to put together without factoring in trying to accommodate allergies. |
| I would let them eat it, but I bet the marshmallows would be stale. |
| I think it's really cute, OP. I love edible favors. |
| I think its lame. We don't eat marshmallows so it would get tossed. |
I've never met a kid who doesn't eat marshmallows. Ditto for chocolate and graham crackers. |
Well then why even bothering to a thread that clearly doesn't apply to you? |
This is the crap I'm talking about. Allergy mom just hijacked this thread. |
