There are some series about castles, historic special ops, docu series. Better than trashy soaps.

We are enjoying Grinder. It has the wonder years kid in it, and Rob Lowe.

can't wait for season 2

Is there going to be a season 2? I was also going to suggest it.

are you two mormon?

NP. We really like it too. (And we're not Mormon at all.) It's like Encyclopedia Brown.

I agree but it is a slap in the face that it was cancelled and there is only about 18 shows. It is a like an appetizer with no main course.

I lived it! So sad was critically claimed but cancelled after a season.

I don't understand you. Don't you watch things with your kids sometimes?

Yes, but we don't need help finding something to watch. I just can't imagine that. And I'm not even particularly smart or savvy.

NP here. Between network, premium channel and Netflix, Amazon original series - as well as old series being re-aired, there are legit shows out there people are missing out on. It is nice to get recommendations. What is not nice are people like you posting a rude jusgemental post that offers no help and is trying to deflect the thread. Go away.

OP,

Stranger Things
Gortimor Gibbons
Wonder Years
Everybody Hates Chris
Malcolm in the Middle

Sherlock.
Stranger things.

Sherlock is a little grim. Holmes was never that rude or anti-social in original stories. "That woman" is a dominatrix and Moriarty is so annoying. Read the original books first.
