But it's her inlaws money to waste and they want her to go.

Don't think we could easily spend hours in a line with our 2.5 year old; or one of us would wait, if that's possible, and then somehow have the other parent with the child come back. How do people deal with those lines for tickets?

Do people really wait in 1 hour long lines at Disney? I go at least 2 times a year, and I never do. Just go on the rides with short lines and get fast passes for the rides that have longer lines. There is absolutely no need to ever wait for 1 hour in a line if you plan correctly. If you are of the mindset that "we have to go on peter pan no matter what" and don't have a fast pass, yeah you will be waiting in line, but if the lines are too long just go do something else. Chances are you will be back at Disney again some other time and can do that ride then.

NP here. We have gone to Disney several times and wait no longer than 30 min. Kids are early risers and we go at rope drop, take advantage of early magic hour and fast passes. Have never gone during a big break where crowds are at their peak. I'm also a big planner and we don't stay all day at the parks. We have known people who go with no plan, show up at parks at 10am during school breaks, have to wait 1-2 hours for everything and hate Disney.

Sounds crazy. Put the baby in the Ergo and go for it. 3 year olds have an awesome time at Disney.

I'd be more concerned with how such young kids will deal with such long boring lines vs. getting measles.
