"100s of thousand of Third World trash that just leech off social programs..." Somehow this doesn't scream "Bernie Supporter" to me. |
So she was pro-war, which you are against, and then she was anti-war, which you are also against. Curious who you plan on voting for. The Lucky Charms leprechaun? |
I guess you don't get the nuances about working from the point you are. Once we were in Iraq, it was obvious that the surge was the right move. Too complex for you? |
I think nuance escapes you. Who are you voting for? |
| There aren't many politicians who were against the war but for the surge, but there were a few. HRC was definitely not one of them. She had her finger in the wind both times, but especially in the build up. I'm terrified of what she will do in office (completely convinced she will win and terrified by it). |

I just listened to the audio and I thought Clinton made a lot of sense and didn't say anything objectionable. I think the most insulting thing she said was the joking comment that a lot of millenials came out of college in a tough economy and were living in their parents' basement.
I liked what she said about some of the appeal of the Sanders movement for millenials being that if you have a low paying job and no immediate chance for improvement that being on the right side of a huge political movement would certainly seem appealing, and that she didn't want to crush that spirit because idealism is great and should be encouraged. She just cautioned that they had economic realities they'd have to face and they shouldn't promise more than they could really deliver on. I think she was talking about some harsh realities and was doing something we don't often associate with politicians, which is refusing to promise her constituents things she couldn't deliver on. I have more respect for her, not less, after hearing this audio. |
| Hillary was condescending and contemptuous of millennials. |
Not at all. She simply pointed out the reality that many recent college grads are saddled with massive debt, didn't get the great jobs that were promised, and are living at home out of necessity. The fact that the Trump Train came up with and is pushing the term "basement dweller" is a cheap attempt to deflect the Orange Deuce's week-long tantrum against Machado. The only people who believe this crap are the hardcore folks who get their "news" from Twitter and don't bother to listen to the audio. Total Lie and Failed Red Herring |
|
Her comments were the personification of contempt for the millennials who backed Sanders. Can you blame these supporters for not wanting to support her?
Her new concern for their welfare is as fake as the rest of her antics. |
Lol- did you bother to listen to the full audio? |
The problem is that the Trump supporters are bummed that they can't spin her words into something damaging to her. |
|
LOL, right wingers so confident this is Clinton's 47% moment. Zzzzz....
|
Yes, I did ...... she looks down on those who voted for Bernie as a bunch of losers. But now that she needs their votes, she has changed her tune. |
|
Just FYI, here is how Bernie Sanders reacted to Clinton's remarks:
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/sanders-clinton-comments-leaked-audio-absolutely-correct/story?id=42496761 "What she was saying there was absolutely correct, and that is you have millions of young people, many of whom took out loans in order to go to college, hoping to go out and get decent-paying jobs and they are unable to do that. And yes, they do want a political revolution. They want to transform this society," |
| Wow OP made this sound controversial but that isn't the case... |
