If you think that any dissenting opinion automatically aligns that person with the Republican party then you fail and so does your hypothesis. Over 40% of this nation doesn't belong to a party so therefore it is about a 30% chance that a remark is made by a party member.

+1 She looks exactly like a grandmother trying to be cool. Unfortunately it does not work for her. It was very forced, and she looked irritated. People who wonder why no news conferences/ public appearances wonder why she chose THIS to be all serious about herself. She is not funny. She comes across as someone who shows up at a place that is very ironic and hip and read the "list of small infractions" that no one wants to hear. Bad choice. You can spin it any way you want, but in this she is not funny, and certainly not light, hip, or ironic.

That was literally the joke and she nailed it. Watch the episode with Jon Hamm, who is hilarious. He comes across the exact same way as Hillary. That's the joke.

+1. How do people not "get" this?
Anonymous
Anything beyond Jay Leno "obvious" humor is beyond the grasp of understanding for some people.

To not think that it is funny is one thing. To not be willing to accept that this skit is doing something different is something else.

Of course Hillary's sycophants would say this. It was all part of the gag. She knew it all along. Of course.

You do know that this was not the first episode of Between Two Ferns, right? If you want to see awkward, check out the Charlize Theron or Natalie Portman episodes.

Right? She knew exactly what she was doing. It's kind of the point of this goofy skit/show.

I don't know that it was the best decision, but she knew exactly what was getting into and agreed to it and the script.

It's not a surprise that Trumpkins don't get the joke...most of them never bothered to go to college

Despite your elitist post, a college education does not equate to a sense of humor.
In fact, the folks I know with the very best sense of humor are not college graduate.
Nice try getting a little dig in there, though.

No, that's totally cool, PP because he wasn't being PC. Or he didn't mean it. Or the media spun it, he never said or did anything to mock her. Or something. But the one thing people love about Donald is his truthiness and consistency.

Exactly.

Some of you are missing the point. The show and the host set the whole thing up so that Hillary could be herself and it would be funny. If she had been laid back, relaxed, and cracking a bunch of jokes, it would have missed. She did exactly what she was supposed to do, which is why it worked.

And she considers herself a serious candidate for the highest office in the land?

Well, doesn't matter. Both candidates have little to no dignity and more than half the nation has little respect for them.
