cvs pregnancy test

Anonymous
I bought a CVS digital pregnancy test and followed the instructions to a T and it came back see leaflet however, when I pulled the stick out of the digital reader there is a very noticeable blue line and another faint blue line. But it says in the leaflet disregard this and only go by the result window. Obviously I got a defected test (of course) does anyone one who has taken a CVS digital pregnancy test had a positive result with these blue lines???? Help!!!!

A faint line is NOT a line when it comes to digitals. They always have some kind of faint line for the test line, then a darker line for the control line - the faint line does NOT mean the test is defective. That's why you shouldn't take digitals apart and look at the lines. You can take apart a regular test to scrutinize for a faint line, and a faint line = positive, but that is not true for a digital test.

thank you.

This happened to me too. Don't feel bad.

Is it normal for the results window line to show up before the control window line? I took 2 this morning and got a reading within seconds, the results window line first - then the control window. Both are very dark... It was the CVS brand early response (blue dye).

The other night I took an EPT Test that said "pregnant." after about 20 min of grey-faced teeth chattering and water guzzling, I took another EPT pregnancy test that said "not pregnant." The next morning, when I really needed to get a yes or no answer, I took a CVS Digital Preg. Test that erred. It said "see pamphlet." In my frustration with pregnancy tests in the modern age of 2011, (ESPECIALLY the "easy to read, clear results" tests with no advertisement that it's a self-assembly test, aka the hard kind).... I DESTROYED IT!

And guess what was inside?!!

Eroded batteries, and rust.

I then lost all faith in those expensive lies.

After that, I went to the doctor, and was not pregnant. Or so THEIR test thinks!

I took a cvs early pregnacy test lastnight there was a dark blue line in the control window & a very faint line in the result window. So I decided to take the second test in the morning cuz I've been told the hcg hormone is detected more easily in the am . The test almost looked the same but a little darker . This isn't my first rodeo I have 3 kids so I know how to read a test but maybe I just tested too early. Please help I'm freaking out !! Lol

Go get a First Response Early Result. I don't trust blue dye tests - have had false positives before...

Yep. Look for the parallel line.
