I vote for Private School Forum. The thread could be about at which school would she belong.

She looks like a Landon mom to me.

Definitely not a Big 3.

Probably one of those ancient Trump trolls from Political Discussion.

Of course it is. Who do you think still watches Miss America?

Miss Anerica has joined the Red State Blue State divide.

I do.

For example, I refer to Hillary Clinton as "an old gal."

Ok I'll take the bait. I am a SAHM and feel very lucky to able to stay home. I grew up in poverty raised by a single mom. I spent all my time in day care and one of the daycares had a woman that was abusing physically abusing some of the kids. I was really scared of her. I worked since age 12 and put myself through college. I worked really hard when I graduated. Once I got married my DH and I made it the top priority to figure out how I could stay home with our kids. I wanted them to have a better life than the crappy childhood I had. So I really think you should stop judging people.

as a WOHM, i find this thread misogynistic and obnoxious.

The two women I know who were their state reps to Miss American won scholarships that paid for law school and an MBA. Both are very successful in their careers and have typical families.

No, Hillary is an Old Girl. That is what women who attended Ivies like Wellesley are called.

This is the non-sexual forum. Please avoid slang references to anatomy.

I do hope you're kidding.

Sorry, my understated British humor does not not work with American audiences.

Tosser!

Yup and the saddest part is that it's dominated and started by women.

What does a "typical family" look like?

No one thinks the miss America pageant is progressive or anything. But farming out the raising of your own children to some undereducated, minimum wage employee stranger is hardly a sign of progress for the species either. Our country is clearly in distress.
