Seriously! I'm an unviolent woman and I do this from time to time. DC traffic can make the best of us crazy. |
it's considered "violence"? |
Aggression, at a minimum. |
| This thread really puts all the "omg, that's abuse!!!" advice into perspective. LOL. The relationship forum is full of the most miserable people in the world and they take joy in finding dealbreakers in everyone's relationships. |
LOL. Seriously. What's flipping off strangers? That's NORMAL. Everyone does it. The other day this old lady tried to cut in front of me in the grocery store and I screamed in her face and threw my frozen ham at her. HELLO. That's just everyday behavior. What's the big deal? |
|
FLIPPED. Flipped off.
Who says "flicked"? |
+1000000 DH never ever ever loses his cool in traffic; he grew up in Detroit where honking or giving someone the finger might land you dead. Meanwhile everyone who knows me would say I'm the most mellow, easy-going person. I absolutely have honked and flipped people off - not often, but it has happened. Especially when I'm stressed about something else, like many of us often are. Unless he has other anger or rage issues I don't understand why this was even posted. |
Agree. What the real problem OP? |

I am assuming that you have been dating this man for a couple of years if you are engaged. If this is the first time you've seen him do this over a period of years, it is really not a big deal.
Even if he does it every once in awhile, it's still not really a big deal IMO. We all get impatient sometimes. |
| Who the hell cares? This is a problem for you? Let him go because he deserves someone that isn't a complete psycho. Yes. YOU are the psycho here. |
I'm not a man and I don't get what being a man or a woman has to do with anything in this situation. |
| I would flick someone off too if they were honking at me for no reason. They deserve it. |
It wasn't for no reason? |
