Makes me sick. Some calling Micah Xavier Johnson a martyr.

She admitted that she had conflicting feelings.

After the events of last week, if you don't have conflicting feelings, you might not be fully human.

To her credit, she posted the video to show how conflicted she was. She's admittedly not proud of or happy about her feelings. She also doesn't condone violence. She is working through her issue which she has self identified. She deserves some credit as she showed courage being openly honest about her feelings. This is the first step in personal transformation. Imagine how powerful it would be if people did this.

The crux of the issue we have with blacks regarding LE, and really all other issues such as education, income inequality, etc., is that many people ultimately believe, whether they admit it internally or not, that black people, or most black people, have a culture problem. Others believe they have lower IQs and are just inherently lower functioning people. And these "facts" are the reason why they statistically are not doing as well as others. They see these views as not being P.C. instead for what they actually are: misinformed at best, overtly racist at worst. It's okay to feel this way, but if you understand what the feelings are, only then can you begin to address them.

Sure, she can hate the police. Lots of people do. She can think Johnson is a martyr. She can post her thoughts online.

I can think she's an idiot. There are bad cops, and dumb ones who make mistakes. Mass shooters, whatever their cause or motivation, are terrible disgusting people. Always.

We need more people in this world like her. She's not an idiot, she's a person who is angry. At least she realizes it and knows her thoughts are not helpful. All you are doing is hurling judgement. She didn't advocate for cops dying.

No, we don’t need more like her.
She doesn’t view these 5 police officers as human beings. She doesn’t view them as husbands, fathers, brothers, sons. She doesn’t view them as little league coaches, volunteers, Christians. She views them as white police officers. Period. She just doesn’t see them as human. In fact, I would say she views them as less than herself.
I see nothing redeeming about what she has posted. If she is conflicted - deal with it privately. Why the need to post to social media? Other than to refer to the killer as a martyr....
I think she is sick. And, totally undeserving of any kind of crowned winner of a beauty pageant. There is nothing beautiful about her.

She saying there lives is no less or more important than the lives of the unarmed men the led up to this situation. Just because she has odd opinion doesn't mean she sick.

Their lives were more important. Seriously.

You have to each crime separately. Alton's arresting officer. Potential criminal. Philando's officer. Potential criminal. Johnson. For real, criminal and terrorist (I don't know what else you call someone who shoots multiple people in public.)

Far from a martyr.

The 5 killed officers. And the others hurt. They had no crime. Wrong revenge victims, if that's (not) what was called for.

This isn't even a debate. And I heard her comments, I understand them. I think she should have kept them to herself.

Sorry. When I say more important, I at first thought you were speaking of the cops vs. Micah. So let me be clear.

Everyone's life is important ya know what even the criminals. They have potential to change.

But a guy shooting up people in public. They HAVE to be taken down. They have to lose their life. That's it. Who would defend such a person? If you do defend him, you are racist. I'd say the same thing about any other public shooter of any other race or group. If their group were defending him.

Are you talking about yourself. PP, do you always refer to yourself in the third person?

No, the PP was talking about the attention whore who posted the screed you also see to believe. You seem to suffer the same lack of common sense and idiocy. Fortunately, the police are not run by your sort.

To be fair, she was Miss Alabama in 1994.

Conflicted about what exactly?
I have no conflicted feelings. What this killer did was wrong. No conflict there.
What these police were doing was their job. No conflict there.
What I feel about the deaths of these police officers and the two black men shot in Louisiana and Minnesota is sorrow. No conflict there.

This man publicly murdered and maimed many. He taunted with bomb threats and sang.

I am stunned to see some say that what he did was right....shocked. Disgusted.

If you read public Facebook comments on this topic, there are many who are upholding this vomit-inducing opinion.

You need a dictionary.
Martyr is a person who sacrifices something of great value and especially life itself for the sake of a principle, to kill (someone/or self) for refusing to give up a belief or cause. That principle/belief/cause can be good or evil, just or unjust.

Ah, you are the other idiot looking in the mirror as you spew your venom against those who disagree.

People like her and many blacks want to focus on white behavior and not their own behavior or the simple facts. Consider:

-Black males make up 6% of the population but are responsible for 40% of all cop killings
-They resist arrest at a rate 8 times greater than whites
-They are responsible for 50% of all homicides
-They are responsible for 93% of the homicides of blacks
-Police are 18.5 times more likely to be shot by a black than to shoot an unarmed black man

Bottom line, law enforcement interactions with blacks are statistically and relatively very dangerous; however whites are shot by police at twice the rate of blacks, and when adjusted for actual crime rates blacks are shot by police less than whites.

All of this said, any police offer who unjustifiably shoots someone of any race needs to be held accountable.

I agree. I also think that the shootings last week look quite questionable. However, we still do not know what happened prior to the shootings. Frankly, I find that video of the girlfriend narration just plain weird. If you see a policeman in your rearview mirror, wouldn't you hide your gun under the seat or something? Why would you have it out?

In her mind and in the mind and of the BLM there not separate issue's there's multiple killings on black men and this guy took opon himself
in his mind do justice. As wrong as they is some people can justify why it happened. Both sides have losses. Again if she has the right to
state her opinion right or wrong. We want to tell other people to keep her comments to herself, but somehow win can have public opinion
on the site or anywhere else. Freedom of speech for one but not the other.

Why does BLM, or this woman, want to own Johnson's actions? I'm willing to write him off as a mentally ill mass shooter, not as a radical member of BLM.

The problem, of course, is that when police killed citizens unjustifiably, they are very rarely held to account. Trust between the police and many communities has almost completely broken down.

Reynolds (the girlfriend) says the gun never came out: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/philando-castile-showed-gun-traffic-stop-girlfriend-article-1.2706987

I'd tend to believe her over that fidgety officer.

No one owns Johnson's actions except for himself. That doesn't mean that that people didn't have justifiable anger over the LA and MN shootings.
