| The problem is there are people who LOVE them and only shop there because they love the vanity sizing (I work with some girls who ONLY shop at LOFT). So they can't get rid of the vanity sizing, but then they confuse the people who order their size elsewhere and wonder why their tops are swallowing them alive. |
Sure you're not super skinny. Humblebrag.
|
| I love Loft but omg it is vanity sizing there. My favorite shorts are the rivera style - I wore a size 4 in this past summer’s model, but I am generally a size 8 in non-Loft bottoms. |
| Definitely major vanity sizing |
| All of their pants are too big. I'm 5'7" 130 pounds, and usually a 4 everywhere else. |
| I am 5’7, 155 pounds and I usually am swimming in a M dress or top at Loft. Their dresses are often like tents. But their pants in the Julie fit (curvy fit) fit me perfectly at size 10. I carry most of my weight in my lower body and need to lose 20 pounds. I’m more like a size 12 in pants at other stores. |
THis is still true. My large-chested friends really like Loft. |
|
Big! I wear XS in everything and size 2 in their jeans.
I am a size 4-6 everywhere else and this would have been a size 8 back in the 80s. Don’t get me wrong, it excites me to buy a small size. However, I know it’s not “true”. One only needs to shop in Italy, etc to see |
| They are gigantic. I’m 5’3” and 115 lbs, and their XS/00 sizing is often big on me, for both tops and bottoms. |

+1000. I’d also add that men’s clothes don’t require you look at the tag to figure out how an item should be washed. Gentle, cold water, lay flat to dry or tumble dry low. It’s annoying and I’ve ruined clothes when I haven’t been paying attention. Maternity clothes don’t require this either so it can be done. |
| I feel so fat at 5'3 and 110lbs! I have to go on a diet and starve myself like you waifs! |
Yeah sure. Stating that you wear smaller sizes is totally always equal to "humble bragging". Struggling to find clothes in your size is totally "humble bragging". Also not you implying that all skinny people are happy with the fact that they're skinny. Not all of us like being so small. |
Am I reading this correctly? You're pretty small. I'm just an inch taller than you and the same weight as you roughly, and I'm pulling teeth over here trying to GAIN weight. Why exactly do you think someone your size needs to lose any? |
Why are you digging up a years’ old post to post an obnoxious comment?! |
