Agree. Tops are all like tents. I was swimming in the XSs and I'm 5' 9" and generally a 6-8! Pants not quite so bad but I'd go down a full size.

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and my stomach still fits into my usual size elsewhere if I buy tops at LOFT.

I think it really depends on the piece. Jeans fit pretty true to size, but I have had to size down a size or two in tops.

I'm usually a 2 and wear 00/XS at Loft. I still have to be careful because some styles stretch so much that they don't fit after a couple of hours.

Massive, and increasingly so. I swear 5 years ago their sizes were much more true to size because I have size 4 pants from there that are old (like 5-6 years) but the last pair I bought was size 0 and I haven't shrank.

They run very large. I'm slim but not skeletal (5'3", 112 lbs) and their 00 pants are loose on me.

This is why I wish women's clothes were standard, like men's. It's way too complicated and just downright annoying/frustrating to try and figure out what size you are based on the store. Men don't have to go through this nonsense. Mini-rant over.

I find that the pants run large, but not as large as some here seem to find them. I'm 5'4", 113 lbs, and wear a 4 in their skinny jeans.

I wear a 2 in designer clothes and dresses and even the 0 jeans I bought there last year hang off of me. And I'm not super skinny.

LOFT has the worst vanity sizing of any store, ever.

Agreed. I am a larger person and wear the tiniest sizes in Loft.

we sound like we are about the same size. i wear a 4p in pants at loft. they usually fit pretty well.

we sound like we are about the same size. i wear a 4p in pants at loft. they usually fit pretty well.

^ me again - this is more or less consistent with other stores. i'm usually an xs on top everyplace including loft, and a 4p for pants. ymmv since it sounds like others have a different experience.

i'm a 6p in most brands, wear 2 regular or 4p in loft.
