How was MV gala tonight?

Anonymous
While I cringe to see a specific school's gala discussed so publicly, I will also say, since I attended, that I thought it was fantastic. A great balance between low-key, Metro-accessible location and fancy food. Good music (thank you, parent DJ!), fun things to bid on, and only silent auction and raffle, so we were spared the publicity of public spending and (to me) boredom of an auction. I thought it was as inclusive as it could be and I can't believe this was the school's first gala. To whoever said they want to top it next year--in my opinion, no need! I would be happy to attend the very same gala next year (and maybe next year, I will win that bike!)
