21 pilots, appropriate for nine-year-old?

Their music can be pretty angsty so it makes sense that it would reach teenagers more than other age groups. I think it's fine to listen, there might be some swear words here and there but the guys are talented and their lyrics are very smart. The show was entertaining but surprisingly vanilla - especially if you avoid GA floor tickets but even then it seemed really quiet.

They don't even swear at all, which is really nice!

Fine, we took ours at 9-10 and it was a great concert. We take ours to all concerts/no issue.

Built to Spill?? They are great and I don't think Doug is drinking anymore but I can't imagine your 8 year old would really appreciate them.

No. BTS, the Korean pop group.

21 Pilots started as a Christian rock group so they are pretty much fine for all ages.

BTS is squeaky clean, as is the way of K-Pop.

If my kid likes ONE song of a band's they definitely do not like enough songs to warrant going to their concert.

You are a party pooper. You get cheap lawn seats, go as a family and enjoy the music. $20-25 a person. Lots of fun.
