Ground beef recipe that's different than the usual?

Cook the ground beef, drain the fat. Add green beans. Cook. Add Soyaki or similar sauce. Serve over brown rice.

Picadillo! It's a cuban chili with ground beef, olives, raisins, tomatoes, and it's SO good! We always eat it with all the usual chili fixins - diced avocado, cheese, sour cream. I love this recipe, and everyone who has had it always asks for the recipe. My only change to this particular recipe is I omit the chorizo. Sometimes we eat it over rice, too.

+1--can't wait to try it and interested to see if my Latino husband likes it since he's not a huge fan of other chilis I've made.

NP, but picadillo is awesome. You can also use it to make empeƱadas by getting the Gyoza frozen shells.

This is a vegetarian Turkish recipe, but my daughter and DH like it with a pound of ground lamb or ground beef sprinkled all over the salad. Just brown the ground beef with a little onion in a skillet and add ras el hanout, a Middle Eastern spice mixture. You can also use curry powder or garam masala.

Anytime! As with other chili recipes, this one is best with fattier meats, like 85%. I made this once with 93% and it wasn't nearly as good. Enjoy!

Cabbage rolls. Love them with a tangy sweet/sour tomato sauce. Can do in crock pot or bake in oven.

Impossible cheeseburger pie made with bisquik or you could make stuffed green peppers.

What about keema? You can cut the spice so it's not too hot. This is a good recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/aarti-sequeira/kheema-indian-ground-beef-with-peas-recipe.html

My mom used to make hamburger patties and simmer then in canned beef gravy, then serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
