I have an uncle named Elmer and his brother is named Delmer

Not if they're all talking about the same Waverly

For names unique to DC, I know a Rhodes for Rhode Island Avenue (where the parents married). We almost named our son Penn as we had our first date, got engaged and married on Penn. If we have a girl, we plan on naming her Mary Virginia for DC, which is my grandma's name. Yes, we are Catholic and Southern. I have friends who met playing kickball in Adams Morgan. Their kids are Millie and Nolan after two bars where they met playing kickball. I also have friends that met in the Senate as staffers whose twin girls are Kennedy and Kerry for their bosses. I have other friends who met in Georgetown in a running group and their daughter is Georgia and a friend that met on the bus on M street whose daughter is Emma.
