Your government very willingly plays kissy-ass with the dictators who rule the Middle Eastern countries you find oppressive. Perhaps you should direct your thoughts on the western world' role in the rise of Islamic extremism on your elected leaders who make survival of Middle Eastern dictatorships possible, and help them squash, violently, all signs of domestic discontent. The U.S. ignored a peaceful uprising in Bahrain, and funded its brutal repression when its buddies the Alkhalifa snapped their fat fingers.
