Babysitter question

Yeah, don't put your sitter in a position where she is asked to remind them to wash under their foreskin.

Their penises probably won't get too dirty at the farm anyway. I'm sure night with just a cursory wash is just fine.

It can get dirty down there really quickly if it isn't washed every day.

If they are self-conscious, just ask the sitter to get the water on correctly and let them shower themselves as best as possible. By their ages they should be competent to do a decent enough job for one day. Practice with them now.

Then they wouldn't be able to wash their butts and privates.

Just having a girl who's only 9-11 years older than them seeing them naked and helping baths them. IDK

When you're a kid like that, you either care about being naked in front of others, or you don't. And when you're that age, a teen babysitter is no different than an adult.

True. I honestly doubt your kids will care, OP. If they do they can skip a bath for one night or they can do swim trunks, their little butts won't fall off from one night of not scrubbing up to your standards.
Honestly, this is all very bizarre to me.

+1

Let them give themselves a bath, and she can just hang out nearby in case they ask for help. They might not scrub to your standards, but they will get relatively clean, and you can scrub them extra the next day.

It seems like it's pretty common for babysitters to still help bathe boys of this age.

Have the babysitter tell them to hop in the shower together & have the 7 y/o wash the 5 y/o's hair?

That is what we have our 7 y/o and 4 y/o do when we are short on time.

Can your 5 and 7 year olds not bathe themselves? Your sitter can put the shower on if you are worried about them making the water too hot and they can wash themselves. I started mine showering around 4 or 5. I put the water on for the first few months until they got the hang of it.

As a girl with only a sister, and as someone who babysat all the time frm age 13 up, I'd have had no idea what a parent was talking about if she had said to remind them to wash their foreskin. I did not stand in bathrooms of kids who were 7 years old to supervise their bath. Yes,for 4 year olds and under, but older kids took their own bath after I drew non scalding water. I was born in 64 so was babysitting in the 70s and 80s... I did not routinely see naked children of either sex after 4 or max 5 years old.
They will wash well enough by themselves for one night.

I think that's less because you only had a sister and more because it was the 70's and 80's in America.

I have received many baths from a 16 year old sitter when I wàs that age. Never objected. N̈ow by 9 I would object. Times have changed.

This would have never occurred to be to fret about. My teen babysitters always helped my kids of both genders wash up when babysitting. No big deal.

My boys are 5 and 8, our teenage sitter helps with baths. It's really no big deal at all. But if it is for your kids just have the sitter get the water ready and let them wash themselves, have the older one help his brother. Have the sitter stay within ear shot. Or just let them skip.

I sat in high school. I only babysat boys and only a few times did I actually have to put anyone in a bath tub. I had one 5 year old who developed a fever. I called mom and she told me to get a temperature in his bottom. She talked to him on the phone first. It was not an issue with him. Another time I had an eight year old who messed his pants . I just stripped him down and gave him a bath and put on clean underwear and he was fine. The boys moms knew I could be trusted.

For a 5 yo, maybe. For a 7 yo, no, not in my opinion. My kids could definitely shower independently by the time they were 5, and at most I would help them in and out of the tub to make sure they didn't slip.
