I think you mean Executive level

Yep

My husband is an FBI agent, which isn't so "cool" in DC but seems to get him a lot of attention elsewhere. I would rather he be an accountant or something because I hate moving around for his job.

My DH is an accountant, which I suppose may be boring to some, but I am also one. I don't know if a lot of people realize how many hours accountants work, but it definitely makes child care duties a pain. It's after 9, and he's still at the office.

My husband is an engineer. He keeps people safe, loves his job. Cool for him, I guess.

Nope. Though I prefer not to date guys who do something similar to what I do, because I get competitive.

I would have a hard time if my husband were a janitor or something menial, though. Partly because I'd be the breadwinner and partly because it would be kind of embarrassing to admit that I (an MBA with a white-collar career) maried someone who could only find unskilled work. I don't really date those guys, though. (I don't consider a trade, like plumber/electrician/contractor to be unskilled.)

Are you embarrassed that you cannot spell words correctly?

I think I have a really cool job that aligns with my interests: I install solar on people's homes.

My wife thinks it sucks and wants me to quit because the pay stinks and is highly variable.

I used to avoid guys with boring, predictable careers that would mean living in the same place in a classic suburban lifestyle, even if with good $$$.

I married a guy with a "cool" job, and I still like it (and still love him), but now I'm tired of moving around and wish he made more $$$.

Pluses and minuses to all things! Just be happy in your lot and be done with it.

I never figured out why the FBI uses that transfer/promotion model. Inefficient and costly to the taxpayer. I spent 30 years as a Federal Agent in another 3 letter agency and had to move once...

Do you care either way?

It's 2015. I thought we were past women defining themselves in terms of their man.

They aren't priceless. They are, however, very expensive.

No. I care that he has a job that he enjoys, that he is good at, and that pays him a market wage.

My husband has a cool job and I make twice what he does. When we are at parties, everybody talks about his job. My job is met with crickets. I got to go to the white house this year which was totes cool to meet the president for a work event. But his job is still WAY cooler.
