While resourcefulness can be sexy, using sex as reward or punishment is not sexy.

Grow the F up.
- sex is for me just as much as it is for him

NP. It's not about reward and punishment. It's about being sexually attracted. I doubt I can be attracted to a man who didn't have a pair and if I'm not attracted to him why would I want to have sex with him.

I wouldn't be attracted to a nag that got turned off about borrowing an egg. FFS, that is some petty shit.

I am a DW and I have to agree with this. Using sex as a reward system is pretty repugnant.

Yeah, DW here, too, and sex isn't some good-dog-have-a-biscuit reward system.

Are there men like this? No snark, really.

Seriously!!! Why did you all marry children?

Children that don't want to be told what to do by their spouse? If you want an egg, go get one. Don't ask your husband to do it, then say he isn't manly. He's not an errand boy.

And what man still shops in brick and mortar stores? I've been with my DH for 10 years and he's purchased maybe 5 things from a retail location, usually suits.

I'm a man. I go to stores. And I see other men there.

Are you bragging about the fact that your man has an Amazon Prime subscription?

I read it as

Who borrows eggs? > Who shops in stores?

Both of those things are a thing of the past for a lot of people.

What if he was resourceful enough to make there are eggs in fridge or to go to the store and buy more eggs. Or what if he donated the pants to charity along with some other stuff in a couple weeks?

I think most woman find a man who is prepared, has means to buy things they need as couple and a good heart sexy.

Or he could just go down the road of providing you instant gratification by mooching eggs off the neighbors, and instead of spending what he may view as valuable quality time with you waste time returning a pair of pants. Not every thing of value has a $ in front of it. And maybe he is at least educated enough to determine the opportunity cost of an action without having to write it down on paper and justify to his SO.

Rape culture.

How do you come up with Rape Culture by reading the above statement?

Pretty sure that was sarcasm. Read enough posts around here and at some point "rape culture" will be used without a trace of irony.

I'm pretty sure there's a microaggression in here somewhere.

Check your privilege.

This whole discussion is triggering.

This entire thread offends my sensibilities. I'm about to cry. Boo hoo hoo. Shame on all of you.

Oh dear, I hope no one is buying their dress shirts on Amazon Prime, unless you're looking for an Arrow wrinkle-free wash and wear. EW

There are hundreds of thousands of dress shirts on Amazon. Just FYI.
