Did SNL make anyone else uncomfortable last night?

Repeating a falsehood multiple times doesn't make it true. That show had everyone thinking Sarah Palin actually said "I can see Russia from my house."

Sorry, I don't want a president who thinks it's funny to show so little concern for a working class person.

That story may be fabricated, too. The press can't verify it. They largely give passes to Carson and Fiorina on these things, I've noticed.
Pp here. Yes, that has crossed my mind. But if the story is fabricated, that just shows how truly strange Carson is - that he can't come up with a fake story that shows him in a better light.

In response to "What insight do you have into Russian actions?" she answered "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska." If anything SNL covered up that she didn't know what "insight" means.

Do you really want to go here?
I could ask what Barack Obama has done for African Americans.

I asked first.

Here's just a few of the things Obama has done for African Americans:

Access to contracting opportunities for minority-owned businesses has improved.

Obama set up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which has already helped to protect countless African American families from discriminatory lending practices, predatory lending, financial abuse and other deceptive practices.

School dropout rates for African American students have been reduced, and outcomes have improved.

Obama increased funding for community colleges and career training centers serving minorities

Obama increased HUD funding to help deal with blighted properties toward transforming low-income minority neighborhoods

Obama sponsored an initiative with grocery retailers that has put 1500 grocery stores into what had previously been food deserts with poor access to fresh, affordable food in low-income areas.

The Affordable Care Act helped get 6 million African Americans access to affordable healthcare.

I could go on with a lot more...

Sorry, but the Donald Trump talking point of "Obama has done nothing for African Americans" is based on pure ignorance.

Obama’s record is not great with AA’s:

Under the leadership of America’s first black president, black people have been the biggest losers. Here are the numbers:
• 25% of black households live below the poverty line as compared to eight percent for white households.
• One out of three black children lives in poverty.
• Blacks are twice as likely as whites to be unemployed.
• Blacks earn $13,000 less per year than their white counterparts.
• The unemployment rate of African Americans has consistently been twice as high as for whites over the last 50 years.
• For every $100 in wealth of a white household, the black household only has $6 in wealth.
Thanks to Obama, gun violence in America is rising. Blacks are suffering the most because they are six times more likely to commit a homicide than whites and seven times more likely to be a victim of a homicide than whites. Crime has escalated thanks to Obama stoking the race wars in America.

These are all longstanding problems that didn't suddenly happen with Obama, it was going on long before Obama. Most of the economic issues are thanks to the last 30 years of GOP supply-side economic policy put in place with Reagan, along with things like Republican tax cuts for the rich and for mega corporates as opposed to things that would help the poor and small businesses, and "trickle down" policy in which nothing ever trickles down, which has concentrated the lion's share of the wealth at the top, increasing the wealth divide while also causing the economy to stagnate. And, I have yet to see one GOP candidate in the last 20 years who would even remotely propose anything to help reverse any of that.

Yeah, talking about an 18mo's vagina made me uncomfortable.

I haven't watched the whole episode yet.

Yes, it was offensive. I have been called "the black girl" and I will never forgive those people.

It's pretty hard to get change when you need Congress to also do their part, but are stuck with a Congress that opposes and obstructs common sense from day one, and for little legitimate reason other than a racist fantasy that you are a "Communist Foreign Born Muslim"

Get back to us when Congress changes.
