Did SNL make anyone else uncomfortable last night?

That would have never flown if the person saying it had been anything but black.

And, do people actually watch SNL?

Since most black people won't be voting for him, I'd say it was not difficult.

Lack of education.

Try again. Most highly educated blacks aren't voting for him, either.

+1. Voting for Ben Carson is like voting for Clarence Thomas. No way do I want that traitor to his race in the White House.

+ 1 Re: harshest treatment was for Debbie Wasserman Shultz...although it was pretty spot on. Having observed her in action on the Hill, she's very aggressive (and snarky).

? So, you believe he is a “traitor to his race” because he is conservative?
Very telling.......

I'm shocked that anyone even watches SNL anymore. That show has been irrelevant for decades.

Why exactly is he a traitor to his race?

I don't know why the PP said he is a traitor, but I do they did not say it's because he is a conservative. That is something you came up with all on your own...very telling.....

What have conservatives done for African Americans? If anything, conservatives are the ones constantly setting race relations back.

Hmm, where did I say anything about being a conservative?

Then, pp can clarify why he is considered a traitor in her eyes.
Seems to me that anyone of color who is conservative is condemned by the left.
That is what is very telling.

Do you really want to go here?
I could ask what Barack Obama has done for African Americans.

Oh come on. That is tame for the SNL News segment. And you seem really deferential to the guy. You are referring to him as Dr. Carson. That's like saying Reverend Huckabee or Dr. Paul. Seems like you are in the tank for him.

or "Minister Farrakhan" or Mister Trump.

Seriously, there's something psychologically wrong with Carson and I don't mean the narcissism that most politicians display.

11:29 again -- I mean who thinks it's clever to say that they told a gun-toting robber to go hold up "the other guy" and then went on about their business and seemed not to care what happened to a poor Popeye's cashier?

Sorry, I don't want a president who thinks it's funny to show so little concern for a working class person.

That story may be fabricated, too. The press can't verify it. They largely give passes to Carson and Fiorina on these things, I've noticed.

Yes. It was the top-rated show of Saturday night, actually. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/10/11/saturday-night-live-with-amy-schumer-dips-slightly-still-tops-night/477402/

And, of course, it's a show that's custom-made for the Youtube culture.

So, yes. It's far more influential than, say, anything on Fox News, which only reaches a couple of million old folks, who are dying by the thousands daily.
