Do you wash new washcloths and towels before using them?

agreed

The grossest thing about this is that you buy burgundy anything.

Um yeah

Were you raised in a barn or something. Why wouldn't you?

If you can afford a towel you can afford to wash it. Come on now.
Right? When I was at my brokest I would go old school and hand wash my clothes and other items in the bathtub.

I always pack my own towels.

Yes, I do.

It's just too gross not to. I mean, just think of all the germs as well as dirty hands that may have touched them previously in the store.

Plus, towels usually feel pretty rough when they are brand-new so I like to wash them first to soften them up. I used fabric softener & not too much laundry detergent.

Exactly this.

Also, some brands will leave "lint" on your body if you haven't washed them first. Not good for guests.

Burgundy or any colored washcloths bleed onto other items in the wash. I only buy white ones.

white, beige, or sometimes light sage green
