+1, and equally awful is the fact that new towels aren't very absorbent. They need to be washed sometimes multiple times to become absorbent (washing off the chemical softeners). New towels make me feel like I can never get dry enough. |
| Good to see a guy starting a thread for a change. |
| I should. But I'm poor and it costs money to do a load of laundry so I don't. Haven't gotten a rash yet. |
If you can afford a towel you can afford to wash it. Come on now. |
Burgundy or any colored washcloths bleed onto other items in the wash. I only buy white ones. |
Easier to see the dingleberries. |
| I just went to visit a friend and had to dry off with a brand new red towel. I was covered in red lint and still damp. Annoying. |
You got a roof. You sound precious and ungrateful. |
| Are there any towel brands that do not shed? It seems like my towels continue to shed after one or two washes. |
Ungrateful because I was annoyed I was covered in red lint? I didn't march down to breakfast and throw the towel in their face and demand an apology. I silently sighed to myself about how that's annoying, then I got dressed and went about my visit. |

You beat me to it.... But I only "wash" then with my taint. |
|
Yes because
- lots of lint - Sitting on a store shelf for "who knows how long" and collecting dust and other yuck - Having other people with most likely unwashed hands touching them |
agreed |
LOL! |
