This is an old thread. This happened to me. Dr didn't tell me I should get pregnant while on it. It happened and I miscarried.

I’m currently taking doxy to try to get rid of ureaplasma myself but I have a feeling I might be pregnant. I tested this morning at 9dpo and had an vvfl.zAny other success stories?

Pulling out is never safe, even if he does pull out. Don’t use that as birth control.

And it’s possible taking the antibiotic prevented the morning after pill from working.

This thread is from 2015. If OP had a baby, that baby is 8.

How’d it turn out, op?

This poster revived the thread to get answers.

Sorry PP, I have no answers for you, just hoping to point it out so you may get some actual help and less "this is an old thread" nonsense.

yes it is exactly then, that issues arise, when the fetus is tiny and expanding rapidly.

If for example you have an 8 month pregnancy and need a dose of antibiotics, you can do it because the kid is almost fully formed, it won't have an effect on lung function or brain development. If you took those same antibiotics early on, in the first trimester you can cause a lot of damage.

The earliest days are mostly cell division. I think the critical period begins 3 weeks after implantation and between 3-12 most sensitive to possible exposures and malformations which correlates to miscarriage risk being highest then.
