do you stay home or work?

I've had to switch careers so I can have a work at home job and still take care of my autistic child. I would love more than anything to have a career where I can go to an office to work. Talk to other adults. But with current situation that isn't going to happen. Between my husband and I one of us had to have a flexible schedule so we could take our son to his therapy appointments. I only work part time right now but I'm hoping as my son enters school full time that I can work more. We have a lot of bills to catch up on so the sooner the better!

I work from home as well. I don't think I would have been able to stay in my job w/o my flexible employment.

Between work, taking the kid to school and therapy appointments, I am maxed out.

Regardless of whether you work or not, the common theme is trying to find some way to make it all work. It's so hard! Our culture doesn't make work/life balance easy... and it's especially harder for SN parents.
