Baby names that are both Hindu/Jewish?

Would it matter which person in the couple is Jewish or Hindu for name purposes? I guess if the kid will take the father's last name and that will suggest one background, you may lean more towards the other for the first name?

Looking ideally for names that are actually used by both Jews and Indians, not just names from one culture that 'are also words' in another.

I see a metric fuckton of south asian/jewish couples around DC, so I can't be the only person pondering this question. ;p

I like Mira and Maya.

Love Mira- and I think Maya is lovely too.

My college bf was Hindu and Jewish. His name was Avi. His daughters are Mona, Mira and Maya. I like those names.

Glad I'm not the only one having trouble finding names that are meaningful to both! I'm 14 weeks pregnant, we are having a boy ☺️ my husbands family is Punjabi Sikh/ Hindi and my family is Irish catholic/ Jewish. It's been tedious trying to find a name that represents both sides. Especially since we are hyphenating the last name.
