Do 6-7 year old boys wear sun hats?

I am surprised by this thread. I have three kids, the youngest of whom is 7 and have spent tons of time with them and their friends. I have NEVER seen kids wear a hat except during crazy hat day at school.

Really? My kid wears a baseball cap every chance he gets. Sun hats just for the beach, but he loves his baseball hats. And, we see tons of boys wearing them at ES dropoff/pickup.

My 7/8 yr old son wears one like the titanium color hat (no colored band). I found it at Bed Bath and Beyond in the patio/grilling section. I bought the small size for him. I bought a turquoise one for my 10/11 yr. old DD. Both used them a lot last summer. They are very good for camp and just general outdoor time when they don't want to use sunscreen on their faces (or even if they do have it).

The Columbia hats are good. I like having one that's washable because DS is ridiculously sweaty.

Speaking of hats, I'm looking for baseball caps (DS 9, DD 6) and have no idea where to get them. I don't really want to go the online route since my kids have larger than average size heads but not adult size. Would Dick's have them?
