Good Mexican restaurant?

I think its a bit overstated to say that there's not really a real Mexican cuisine. I feel like the most impressive thing about Rick Bayless is his undermining this notion.

But its absolutely true that Tex Mex is its own cuisine with its own traditions, and at its best, it is excellent.

Ditto on Chuys. Long drive and you have to go early, but it's awesome.

Instead of getting indignant, could you just identify a good full-service Mexican eatery in Gaithersburg?

The taco place in the liquor store near Rio is in fact excellent, but it is short order and not a great eating environment.
