Moving to DC: Full-day preschools for 3-yr old in NW?

Anonymous
Our daughter is at Wonders and we love it. They have several sites (maybe 3?) serving 2-5yrs, so make sure you check them all out. We're at Edgemoor in downtown Bethesda; there is also Leland center in Chevy Chase and the one that will be moving to Washington Ethical. They're expensive, but a true gem.

We applied for a 3 year old spot for this fall and didn't get in. There were over 100 applicants for 10 (yes, 10) spots. I'm told some spots open-up in late summer, but the odds are not good. Just want to help the OP manage expectations.

Children's House of Washington in Georgetown is, indeed, the best kept secret in Georgetown! My child has gone there for two years and LOVED it.
