AAP admission stats 2015

My DC did not attend FCPS for first grade, so no NNAT scores. Cogat was 127. Wisc was 138. Was not in the pool but is accepted to AAP due to parent referral. I don't know the GBRS.

That was my DD. I will say, her teacher put A LOT of effort into that GBRS report. She included very specific examples of behaviors/acts in the classroom and out (like at recess). I knew about some of these things, but not about others. It was an interesting read, and more information about my child than I've gotten (albeit indirectly) from any of my kids' teachers so far. I would recommend to anyone who had a packet prepared to request a copy.

It covered nearly all aspects of her day, things she says, quotes she'd said, how she handled situations, questions she asked, answers she provided, etc. EXTREMELY detailed.

I agree. It is so insightful to be able to read all the commentary. The teachers (or at least some) put a LOT of time and effort into it. I wonder if they take notes all year long!

I am shocked to see some of the kids got in with such low scores which makes me really doubt the quality of the program.
