AAP admission stats 2015

Has anyone heard about changes to make the number of students admitted smaller? My third grade AAP student claims his teacher has told him that the number of students entering will be much smaller ... Teacher is very chatty, but I am assuming DS misunderstood because I would assume something like that would be publicized. Perhaps it's some change just to our center, although no redistricting happened this year.

There was a report posted back in April - it appears liked the numbers of eligible student increased slightly this year although fcps raised Cogat scores to get in pool. If the teacher is chatty, why don't you confirm this news and report back?
