No. This is a satirical thread based on another loooong discussion about somebody who may have been poaching (I.e. hunting illegally / out of season) bobcats (but it turned out he wasn't). This is just a play on the word poaching.

This doesn't even begin to describe the other thread, it went on for something like 120 pages over 2 days and has inspired many spin-offs. But don't worry, nobody is actually eating bobcats.
