We reuse the baskets every year. They always get a new swimsuit, goggles, flip flops and a little bit of candy. Maybe a simple easter egg hunt outside if the weather cooperates

I mail ordered some candy from our favorite candy store so paid $15 for shipping. All in $60 for 3 kids. The youngest of these kids is 20. But traditions die hard in this house.

Reuse baskets and plastic eggs year to year. Hate that fake grass, use whatever tissue paper I have left over from Christmas.

Spent about $25 at Five Below this weekend for 2 kids. Mix of candy, small toys, art projects.

I know this probably sounds dumb, but DH and I both have identical Easter baskets that were bought from carpenter shops and painted. We grew up in different areas of the country so we've always joked we were meant to be together since we were babies! Had to find matching ones for the kids.

We use the same baskets and grass every year for the last 5 yrs. The kids are now 8 and 6.
They get a Lindt chocolate egg.
One small chocolate bunny
They will each get three books.
Sidewalk chalk - one child is getting glitter and the other neon.
New canvas bags to take to the library - One with "I love reading" and the other says "Nuts about books" with a cute squirrel.
New swimsuit (something they need)
New flipflops

Last year they got Tennis rackets and a can of tennis balls.

No we do not post pictures on Facebook but we do send them to the grandparents in an e-mail or skpe with them so they can see the basket.
How is HHI relevant?
