Get information on halitosis, tonsil stones, and other causes of bad breath, print it out, show it to him, and gently tell him how you feel and how his breath is affecting your attraction to him.
In the meantime, go to Amazon and buy him a bottle of Closys. Make sure he rinses with it at least twice a day. |

I have been told I have very bad breath, but it is hard for me to understand just how bad since I cannot smell my own breath.
However enough people have told me that I assume it is pretty bad. So your husband should be smart enough to figure out that too. I just wonder if others have wanted to tell him, but have been too embarrassed to disclose to him and it is only you telling him and perhaps he thinks you are making a big deal out of nothing. I would encourage him to seek a M.D. again to get to the root of the issue. Since he brushes his teeth often, it most likely is a stomach issue. P.S. Make sure he also brushes his tongue too. |
| Definitely tonsiliths. You may not be able to see the stones upon exam if the tongue isn't flat and down. If it's Shit breath this is what it is. Another cause it's an overclean mouth. Listerine is a bad offender because it causes dry mouth. |
| I had to move away from the woman next to me in my workout class today because her breath smelled like poop. |
I suspect you don't then. My tonsils were removed when I was three. My DH and kids' were not. DD and DH both had tonsil stones. Unbelievably bad breath. I had never even heard of them until three years ago. Google them. You probably have a GERD issue instead. |
| Try Smart Mouth wash, it works amazingly well. |
