| 50. My neighbor. Her child seems to be fine. |
|
54 by IVF.
Child was smart but devious. She was in my child's Kindergarten class. She would physically hurt classmates (spit in ears, put glue on children's hair and cause major damage, go under the table to pick up crayons and very quietly tie the shoelaces of two kids to one another in order to make them fall down). She would then get into these hysterical laughs when kids cried. She should be about 20 years old now. During meetings that mom would make excuses saying her kid was doing all this because she was smart and too bored in class. |

My sister's good friend just got married at age 45 and thinks it will be no problem at all to easily get pregnant naturally and have a healthy baby.
yes this could happen but I think the odds are against it. she is not 35. She is 45. |
| 45. No fertility treatments. |
probably too old and tired to parent |
| 58 by IVF. My bosses wife. She had her first child at 54, the second at 56 and she is pregnant again. The IVF was done overseas. The kids seem to be ok. She is another matter. |
| My Aunt's grandmother was 56 when she got pregnant. Pregnancy was unexpected (and natural!) |
| 55 - my friend's mother was the surrogate for my friend...and even carried twins! |
| My friend's mother had her at 46/47. |
| My mom, who had me at 45. |
| First time mom at 45. |
| I was 44 with my second and my grandma was 45 with her third (my mom was 40 with her 5th). |
| My cousin - 45 and unmarried when she conceived. |
| I don't know these women personally, but I know two who became mothers via donor egg IVF at age 59 or 60 on online forums. I had my twins from donor egg therapy at age 48, nearly 49. |
| I am freaking because my period is a week late and I'm 47. My body feels like it's coming, but it's not showing up. After 8 years of failed IVF treatments, wouldn't that be a kick in the head??? |
