Can I just ask (sorry to derail): In a case like this; is the person's body just hanging on by a thread? If someone is disconnected from life support, what are the final days like? And how does death not happen immediately? I think I read she was disconnected days ago. Just curious. |

I don't think so. He hasn't been charged with anything. I agree that she didn't seem to stand a chance with the fame-whore family and selfish, addicted parents she had. So incredibly young.

You know how you shut off or unplug a fan, and it continues moving for a while? It doesn't just stop completely, but winds down. Cutting off life support can be similar - you "unplug" and remove the artificial mechanisms that keep the body "alive," but it takes a little time for the organs to shut down (it sounds like Bobbi Kristina was already brain dead). The organs wind down, until they can't anymore without something to keep them going. |

Nope. It seemed her parents didnt prepare her to have purpose for her life outside being the daughter of a celebrity. |

She could not have been on life support while she was in Hospice. She was moved to Hospice in late June. I think the 24th. Hospice will provide care for a better and more comfortable quality of days (pain meds, nausea meds, etc.) but not any medical care that prolongs one's life. As long as the heart is beating, a person will live. |

She died way too young.
Even though everyone expected it, it still shocks me. I remember when Whitney was pregnant with her, she made that music video with Chaka Kan and TLC while she had a bump. And yes, I do remember while promoting "The Bodyguard" she was expecting and so happy. Wow, twenty years later both Whitney and her baby girl are gone. What gives me peace is that I know when Whitney passed, Bobbi Kristina was in so much pain. I can still see her screaming to see her mother at the hotel that Whitney drowned to death in. And the years afterward...The whole family was in shambles and it seems the guy she was dating wasn't such a great guy. At least now, she is in peace. And she is sitting alongside her Mom, listening to her sing into her ear.
