[/quote] You know how you shut off or unplug a fan, and it continues moving for a while? It doesn't just stop completely, but winds down. Cutting off life support can be similar - you "unplug" and remove the artificial mechanisms that keep the body "alive," but it takes a little time for the organs to shut down (it sounds like Bobbi Kristina was already brain dead). The organs wind down, until they can't anymore without something to keep them going. [/quote]
