Former mayor Adrian Fenty dumped the wife and followed the money

I'm a single mom and dating is not for me right now. 2 or 3 years down the road maybe. Who knows. I certainly don't judge those who date.

What's with all these sanctimonious posters?

If it takes away time from your kid, then I do judge for that. Sorry.

LOL. Now if the same logic was used for WOHMs there would be a flaming war here!

They are divorced/widowed and dating. The issue most people have is that Fenty is an AA and hot and is dating an older blond woman who is a billionaire.

+1. Don't care what they do. They are adults.

Do you care how it affects his children?

I have my own kids. I can't judge him as a parent (or his ex-wife) by looking at grainy paparazzi photos, can you?!

I thought the issue was that he didn't mope around DC, being depressed about being a loser, after he lost the election, and instead moved to Silicon Valley and started dating again. But you might be right.

DCUM is full of those. If they had their way, we'd be back in the middle ages with full blown witch hunts.

Fenty is half white. I can't blame him for dating her, if I had the chance to date a billionaire I would most certainly jump at the opportunity.

Also there was a story last year I believe about Fenty's 4 year old daughter wandering around somewhere without an adult supervision, so those judging the Fenty's parenting skills harshly might not be too far off the mark.

As a man, it's just a stark reminder than women, when given a chance, jump at the chance for the attractive guy. It's one thing if Steve Jobs was in the same category looks-wise. That would've been a natural progression.

But maybe it's just coincidence that he happens to be attractive. That they fell in love over their shared interest in education or whatever.

But I don't hate. Good for them.

I vaguely recall that. Also, I've read that the kids live with the mother, and that she moved to Trinadad and Tobago. So I must be mixing some Fenty details up in my mind.

It's not exactly clear where the girl was supposed to be, or with whom. http://www.wjla.com/articles/2013/07/adrian-fenty-s-daughter-left-alone-in-d-c-recreation-center-91498.html

No.

Wow. They both look great.

How does your spell-check let you spell and punctuate like that? You need an Apple product.

I am going to guess that if it goes well for them, his children will never have to worry about money.
