what time do they make the call?
|
| 4 or 5 am? Looks like no delay. Be safe everyonr |
| No delay.. Although loudoun just called it (late- after 6!). |
| I think it it starts to snow heavily, they will mobilize for an early release. It's not ideal, but better than wasting a snow day for what might not happen. I'm a teacher, and do recall some K students being brought back last time when there were no parents to greet them, but not many. |
| What time would they have to call an early release? |
| Finally a good call. |
|
Yeah! FCPS got it right.
Londoun county not so much. |
wondering this too.... it's starting to snow in some areas and the temp is dropping - per Cap Weather Gang... |
| I am happy that the kids are in school today. Good call, FCPS!! But I thought I would appreciate a message from FCPS telling people that schools are open and on time. Without the message, I kept checking my phone and the web worrying that I may have missed any important notices. |
FCPS does not post messages like this. They only announce delays and closures, never openings. |
I believe this is called by 10:30. |
| So it's noon now, and snowing pretty heavily (I work out in the 'burbs) but I don't see a lot sticking to roads. Safe to assume that FCPS will stay open until the normal time? |
|
Yes it is snowing quite a bit now, the weather forecast I checked said only 9 am and 3 pm.
Did FCPS goof up again?? |
