what does everyone think of Jackie's dress? I can't seem to paste it.

I like her dress a lot. I don't care for the shoes, though.

I think she looks amazing. I love how each First Lady brings her own style to the WH. Way to go, Michelle!

She looks classy. Michelle is too large of a woman to carry off that look. Jackie seems petite and womanly, Michelle is not fat at all but she is a HUGE woman. She needs something that plays her size down.

Perhaps she is reinventing conventional beauty, and it takes some getting used to. After all Marilyn's size 16 was the social norm at one time. I think the black dress is played down, it's the only color that shrinks anyone. The pearls are classy and her exposed arms show strength.

I've met her in person she is not HUGE - she is tall for sure - not huge.

Size 16 back then was closer to today's 6 or 8. Sizes have changed drastically since Marilyn was around. If you ever shop at Banana Republic they are an example of skewing sizes. I am a 6/8 there but a 10/12 elsewhere. Makes people feel happy shopping there.

She is a BIG woman. Not calling her fat but she is tall and large.

She is not a BIG woman. I am not even sure what you mean by big - probably she is not built like a WHITE woman. Black woman have butts and legs but that by no means makes them big. Michelle is very small up top and has a very narrow waist. Please don't go around calling people big simply because she doesn't have a flat butt.

When I see her on tv, standing next to her husband or other people, she looks big. I said she was not fat and I have not seen her from behind. She looks like a large woman. White women can be large as well. I am not talking about her ass or the fact she is black so I am not sure why you mentioned that. I am talking about seeing her standing next to other women. She is a large woman. Big boned maybe. Never said it was a bad thing, just saying she is not petite like Jackie O.

Come on, people. If you cannot bring yourself to acknowledge that this is a gorgeous woman and a stunning photograph you've got some serious issues (election didn't go your way, your own body insecurities, racism, whatever).

UGH, no one said she was ugly or was not gorgeous. SHE IS JUST BIG. Everyone is entitled to their opinions....

I think that she looks great. The sleveless is really a lot of what she's about - not being so stuffy, opening up the White House and being more transparent. I think it actually has some pretty strong symbolism there. And she looks great.
