Too old-fashioned for me and I'm 60. But if you like them that's what matters. One note, see how much they weigh. We bought some heavy counter stools at one point and our children gouged the hell out of our wood floor pulling and pushing them (and they weren't being obnoxious and careless - they were simply too heavy for children). Ballard Design has some nice transitional styles. |

Not as bad as I expected based on the comments I read before I clicked. Remind me of something you'd see in a mid-level "American fare" restaurant in the suburbs. Kind of ordinary and 10 years ago. For the person who equated all us folks who like "clean lines" with Pottery Barn, I think pottery barn is 10 years passé now, isn't it? Peaked in the Friends tv show era? These stools actually remind me of old Pottery Barn stuff.
