It used to be good, but at some point they sold it and now companies just pay to be on it. It's terrible now. OP, I'd just ignore the notices from here on out. I don't know that I'd post a negative review based on this unless they escalate it - like telling you they are sending you to collections. |
| I wouldn’t. No one reads or relies on reviews, and there so many deranged people who find fault with everything because they are simply demanding, reviews aren’t valid or reliable. Knowing the reviewer makes the review credible. |

OP, is the owner sending you emails telling you the bill is paid in full AND do you have a copy of the final invoice that matches what you paid? If not, then you have a problem.
We had this problem with another company. The owner tried to overcharge us for a mistake he made. His wife was in charge of billing. We worked out an agreed price. The owner told us (via phone) to go ahead and pay it. I said we will as soon as you send us the correct invoice. His wife kept sending us invoices for the higher amount. He kept asking us to pay us the agreed upon amount and said we could work out fixing the invoice later over the phone. I followed up in email and his wife responded that we owed the higher amount. I kept insisting on the correct invoice before paying. Otherwise the company could sue us for the rest and put a lien on our house. He was a lying snake and was trying to trick us. He finally sent us the correct invoice after I continued to insist that I wouldn't pay a penny until I received it and I called our realtor who recommended him to tell him what's going on. I would send an email documenting that you paid in full and demanding that they send you a receipt indicating that the bill is paid in full. If they don't do this within 24 hours, then go ahead and post the negative review. |
| I had a dentist bill me every time I visited. I wouldn't pay until I see what the dental insurance is paying him. Sometimes they paid him in full. He would send me a bill saying second notice for the whole amount. I constantly had to go to their office and show them what the insurance company paid them. They would say the same thing its their billing software. I told them I don't believe you. You must think I'm stupid and you all try to get the patient pay you as well as the insurance company. I accuse them of being slick and scaming. |
