Rice krispie treats

To the person who puts dried fruit in these: why? Why would you try to make rice crispies treats healthy? They are called rice crispies TREATS for a reason. For me, they are delicious the original way. I don't make them often, but when I do it always surprises me how delicious they are.

I disagree with this -- the box recipe calls for something like 3 tablespoons of butter and they come out very very dry. When I was a kid I remember using an entire stick of butter! Now I use 5-6 tablespoons and they come out chewier/softer, and a benefit is that they keep a bit longer too. I also add a bit of vanilla and salt (or just use salted butter).
