Is the debt of Pharmacy school worth it?

There's a recent New Republic article explaining the rapid expansion of pharmacy programs and the comparably slow growth in demand. Part of the problem are high schoolers choosing a career path and taking on lots of debt before they even are sure that's what they want to do.
