Is this type of line normal for 7dpo?

OP these very early betas can drive you crazy. Just keep hoping. By tomorrow it could be a very normal 60-70.

Thank you, my next beta is on thursday. The nurse didn't sound too hopeful though. My progesterone was at 35 at least which is good. I will just have a nervous breakdown if I have a third miscarriage in a row.

Why on earth would it be too low to keep hope? If you thought 7 dpo was too early for a BFP, then you thought it was too early for a beta of 10 (assuming you are using FRER or similar). 25 indicates why you got a BFP and corresponds easily to 8 dpo (in fact, it's still unusually high for 8 dpo... hence why most people don't get a BFP until more like 10-11 dpo). Your posts confuse me; it's like you want there to be a problem.

PP here. Didn't realize that you'd had multiple miscarriages in a row. I now understand what's driving the attitude I get from your posts; totally understandable in the circumstances. In any case, I think absolutely nothing to worry about. Nurse probably thinks it's 14 dpo like most people who go in for a beta.

It's because the nurse thought it was a little low. But a PP mentioned it may be because most people come in once they've missed their period and are further along. Not sure she knows what dpo I am. Thank you for making me snap out of it at least, hopefully this is all fine.

I didn't even think of that, good point!

I would think twins or implanted in a tube.

OP here. Twins don't run in my family so I doubt it. I'm scared of the tube issue but I've had no bleeding or spotting so I guess that's a good sign.

Great news OP! Good luck to you!

congrats! I don't know when I ovulated. I don't keep track. But we had unprotected sex once within a large window. That was late August 31st. I got a faint BFP on a First response like your picture, maybe lighter than your 7, on September 9th.

Jeez. Tube implantations don't usually give extra-high hcg rates; in fact, the opposite is true. Also, this early the doubling rule is loose at best. Obviously at the beginning it more than doubles for some people or no one would ever test positive until at least 5 days post-implanation.

Yes, I also thought that tubal pregnancies tend to have low non-doubling or up and down numbers.

This is the OP to update in case anyone cares. I had my first ultrasound today at 5 weeks 4 days and I was surprised to see that am measuring just a day behind at 5 weeks 3 days based on LMP - so despite Fertility Friend and my temps saying that I ovulated around CD 19 apparently it did in fact happen earlier. No HB or pole yet because it is so early but everything looks normal and we were able to rule out tubal and twins (which makes sense bc the bfp apparently wasn't really 7dpo).
