Is this type of line normal for 7dpo?

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the other replies, I feel relieved. A PP mentioned it's impossible to get a + 7dpo and there just doesn't seem to be any way I ovulated earlier based on temps.

NP here. You're definitely pregnant, but fertility friend can be wrong. Temping is NOT an accurate way to determine ovulation. The OPK pee sticks are more accurate, but even those can be off. It doesnt matter how many DPO you are, because you're pregnant, and if your beta doubles appropriately then that's what matters. you'll probably be able to tell by the beta what DPO you are, approx.

I thought that hcg levels were determined by how long it's been since implantation, not ovulation. Is that incorrect?

You're correct, that's why this is just weird to have such a positive so early. If it implanted on day 6 when I had that big dip does it make sense that I would get a positive test so soon on day 7? I guess anything it possible when it comes to baby making. Others said that despite temps that I may have actually ovulated earlier and be further along than I thought. The flip side of this is that perhaps I really am 7dpo it implanted too early and in the tube. I really hope that's not the case and why I'm a little paranoid.

This is OP again. So, I took a look at my "What to Expect" calendar and the predicted ovulation day was actually 2 days before Fertility Friend indicated that I ovulated. It also coincides with the CM I logged. That said, I think that I probably did ovulate 2 days earlier and my temps were a little delayed since I have low P to begin with. If that's the case then I would be 10dpo and the tests would make much more sense. I'm going to roll with that!

Sorry, but disagreeing with you here. OPKs will only show you that your LH is rising and you are gearing to ovulate. Temping will more accurately show if you are ovulating.

You can debate temping vs opks all day long, but the bottom line is you can't know for sure the timing of ovulation from either of those things. And temping is highly variable by the testing conditions.

I tried OPKs for nearly a year. Total waste of money for me. I starting temping and it is clear every month when I ovulate.

That is why you don't just take your temp willy-nilly, any time of day. If you are consistent and take your temperature correctly if can be a quite accurate indicator of ovulation.

This is OP. My first beta came back at 25. It was drawn on what I assumed to be 8dpo (I say assumed bc some posters say 7dpo was to early for a bfp). Too low to keep hope?

OP these very early betas can drive you crazy. Just keep hoping. By tomorrow it could be a very normal 60-70.

+100 !! My friends all thought I was just ... delusional... Pregnant with very healthy twins. Started looking green 2 days after transfer. And line was two dots.
