Impressions of Glen Echo Heights?

Glen Echo is around the post office and the Park. Mostly towards the river and to the west of GEH. GEH is mostly/all to the north of Macarthur, and the east. I think Mohican Hills is actually in between GEH and Glen Echo. GEH goes up to Sangamore Rd, at which point you hit Glen Mar Park and Sumner.

Any neighborhood that's close to the Potomac River, and not too far from Reagan National Airport, will experience more-than-average airplane noise. This seems to also be true of Glen Echo Heights. When I was a guest at nearby Mohican Hills pool one day a few summers ago, I was surprised at how much airplane noise there was.

We have lived in Glen Echo Heights for 15 years. The air traffic doesn't bother us at all and it definitely fades into the background. It is highway traffic I can't take which is why we looked but didn't buy in Glen Echo (the town). But to each his own.
