There is nothing more hurtful to a mother, in my opinion, than to see that their child isn't equally loved and cherished by others, esp the other parent. I know, it kills me that XH is a dick and doesn't care about DC as much as himself and puts DC through all kinds of crap just because he is self-centered. BUT, you are better off without him, and so is your son. Raise him to be an amazing man, and don't teach him that he's a victim because dad is not there. I wish my X would disappear.
