I never match. I never even knew some "real" people tried to match until one boyfriend (yes, he was soon gone, but this and other reasons!) insisted that most girls matched. I laughed my head off.

What is under my clothes is for how it makes me look from the outside...so I have a lot of 'boring' undergarments so that things lay smooth and provide a good outline. The lacy bras I wore in my 20s look lumpy under smooth tees and sweaters and dont' provide a good contour. The colors show through light fabrics, etc. In my 40s-- I don't want panty-lines or brightly colored panties or thong showing through my clothes. Only nude bras don't show through white tees/shirts.

so--the sexier stuff has to be put on after I come home basically. Otherwise- it ruins the look of the outfit.
